RVU’s The Library by Brigade is the liveliest place on campus, offering a welcoming environment through its vibrancy and hub of knowledge. It stands as a proud testament to visionary collaboration supported by the Brigade Foundation.

Spread across 60,000 square feet and four thoughtfully designed floors, it blends the best of physical and digital learning spaces to support diverse academic disciplines across the University.

As a hybrid library, it houses an extensive and continually expanding collection of books, scholarly journals, magazines, and multimedia resources. In addition, it offers access to globally renowned academic databases such as JSTOR, EBSCO, and IEEE, enabling students, researchers, and faculty to stay at the forefront of knowledge and innovation.

The library is fully automated through the LIBSOFT Library Management System and is enabled with RFID technology for seamless circulation and smart surveillance. With multimedia systems and Wi-Fi-enabled reading areas, the library fosters an immersive research and learning environment.

Purposefully designed to support independent study, group collaborations, and interdisciplinary exploration, the space includes amphitheatres, research labs, maker spaces, solo pods, and interactive reading zones. Whether it’s quiet reflection or a group study, the library accommodates every mode of academic engagement.
