About
Dr. Varadurga Bhat has more than 10 years of combined work experience in academia and industry. Before joining RV University, she worked at the Department of Economics, Christ Deemed to be University. She was also associated with Moody’s Analytics and Institute for Social and Economic Change. She is a passionate teacher and researcher. She has several research articles in her credit including leading national and international journals, edited books, policy briefs, working papers and occasional papers. She has presented papers in national and international conferences. Her research interests include International Trade and Environment, Energy Economics, Sustainability and Climate Change. She has taught Mathematical Economics, Statistics for Economics, Econometrics, International Economics and Environmental Economics.
