Trilochan Jena serves as an Assistant Professor at the School of Business (SoB), RV University, Bengaluru. With over 17 years of distinguished teaching experience, he is a dedicated educator deeply committed to imparting knowledge at both the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. His academic interests encompass Accounting, Finance, and Corporate Restructuring. Professor Jena holds a Master of Commerce (M.Com.) with a specialization in Accounting and Finance from Utkal University, Bhubaneswar (Odisha), and an M.Phil. in Commerce from Ravenshaw University, Cuttack (Odisha). He is also a Certified Accounting Technician, having qualified the C.A. intermediate examination from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). Currently, he is pursuing a Ph.D. in the field of Mergers and Acquisitions at Birla Global University, Bhubaneswar.

Research area is Mergers, acquisitions and corporate restructuring. Research is underway to assess the M&A impact on shareholder wealth and stock return. Both service and manufacturing sectors M&As considered to assess whether M&A creates synergy on shareholder's wealth.
