Kajal Parwani is a law graduate specialising in human rights and humanitarian law. She graduated with an LL.M. from the Geneva Academy of International Humanitarian Law and Human Rights. Prior to this, she worked as a country researcher at the Centre for Human Rights, University of Pretoria, South Africa, for the UN Treaty Body Impact Database 2020+ project. She analysed the impact of UN treaties on human rights in India. She has interned at organisations like the Centre for Civil Society, South Asia Human Rights Documentation Centre, and Development and Justice Initiative to name a few.
