Dr Merin Thomas, currently working as Associate Professor in the School of Computer Science and Engineering, R V University. She has her Specialization in Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence. Her area of research is in Natural Language Processing. She is a Passionate Teacher and has several research articles to her credit. She has won the “Best paper Award” in International Conference in Computing and Information System Co hosted by Computer Society of India. She has coordinated several IEEE Conferences ,Workshops and Global Tech Talks and also a standing Senior Member of IEEE. She has conducted several Faculty Development Programmes under Malayalam Mission, Department of Cultural Affairs, Govt of Kerala, for imparting Digital Skills for Language Teachers across 36 different Countries. Prior to joining RV University, She was associated with leading institutions like Christ (Deemed to be University) , Jain (Deemed to be University) and Bangalore Institute of Technology.
