Residential Life

Cafeteria
RVU’s food services cater to diverse tastes and dietary needs. Our dining spaces are designed as lively community hubs where ideas and conversations are shared over healthy meals. Mingo’s, the university’s main food court, offers multi-cuisine dining for over 1,000 students, faculty, and staff. The 500 sq. metre space is well-ventilated and hygienic, featuring steam-cooked meals and sterilised utensils. Additionally, a smaller food kiosk located at the heart of the campus serves quick snacks and beverages throughout the day.
Transport Facilities
Strategically located on Mysuru Road, RVU is well-connected by the Pattangere metro station located right outside the campus. To support students commuting from across Bengaluru, the university operates a fleet of buses serving over 1,000 students and staff. City buses run by BMTC also serve the campus via routes like 220, 221, 222, and 224.
Health & Wellness
RVU houses a dedicated health centre open daily from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM with an ambulance on standby for emergencies. Residential students have access to an additional clinic from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Health records are regularly updated to monitor overall student well-being.
Sports & Recreation
At RVU, holistic development is at the heart of the student journey. The 50+ acre campus offers extensive facilities for indoor and outdoor sports. It features professional-grade facilities for football, cricket, volleyball and basketball, including indoor courts and a fully-equipped gym supporting year-round activity and personal wellbeing.
Banking & Postal Services
The campus hosts a fully automated Kotak Mahindra Bank branch (RVCE) with two ATMs. Services include digital fee payments, hostel charges, and other student transactions. A branch post office (R.V. Vidyaniketan P.O.) is also located on campus, offering mail services and small savings schemes.
Reprography & Stationery
Photocopying, lamination and binding services are available on campus along with a well-stocked stationery store. These facilities are located conveniently within the food court complex for easy student access.
